One of our greatest values as believers—generously gifted to us in the Lord Jesus—is our families. It’s fascinating how we can look so different in personality, character, values, gifts, and talents. Maybe you’re a shoes-off household, or maybe you’re not. You may be a family that shares responsibilities 50/50, or one where each member contributes unique roles within the family unit.

However, where we all find unity—our common denominator—is our deep need for and love for Jesus. Time and time again, we learn that when Jesus becomes the One from whom our families grow, we will reproduce His image in our spouses, children, and households.

Family Connect Groups are designed to bring young families together, building intentional community at The Finding with others walking through a similar season of life. As parents run the race of faith alongside like-minded families, children also build friendships within homes that share the same values centered on Jesus.

It is clear why the world has targeted the purity of the nuclear family. In Jesus, families are a holy expression of the Father’s household—always intended for our good.
